52 Reasons to Hate My Father by Jessica
Brody is by far one of the funest stories I've ever read.
Fast-paced, full
of charm and wit, I couldn't wait to turn each page. When I got to the end I
was disappointed I had come to the end of the book. I wanted more! And such a
great ending it was. I already miss all the characters.
Eighteen-year-old
Lexington Larrabee is the heiress to the multibillion-dollar Larrabee Media
empire. And man, does she have a lot to learn. She has never had to work a day
in her life, that is until her father comes up with a bright idea of having her
complete 52 jobs, one for every week for the next year. If she doesn't, she
won't gain access to her trust fund. If she does, well, I'll leave it up to you
to learn about her awesome journey.
And don't let the
title scare you. It's not a hate book. A lot goes behind that title and when
you reach the end, you will see why you mustn't judge a book by its cover (or
title). HIGHLY recommended YA read! Two big thumbs up.
Author Jessica
Brody always delivers. Always. Can't wait for her next release.
With lots of
great twists and suspense, author D'Ann Lindun delivers an enjoyable romance
with strong characters and enough mystery to keep the pages turning. An
adventurous journey full of danger and great tension!
Remedy Maker is
like no other fantasy romance I'd ever read. Its characters are original and
the storyline intriguing. I found myself rooting for Patience and Rhycious and
couldn't wait to see what happened next. This amazing debut definitely put a
new spin on Greek mythology. Watch out romance enthusiasts. You're in for a
treat.
Congrats to the
author for delivering a fantastic debut!
Knowing Jordyn
Redwood specializes in critical care and emergency nursing, I was eager to read
her debut medical thriller PROOF.
Talk about
leaving an everlasting impression. Every chapter ended with a hook, and every
hook ended with the need to know more. Add a unique plot, brilliant suspense,
twists that never stop and setting details that place you directly into the storyline
and you've got yourself a masterpiece.
I couldn't put Proof down and I found myself thinking
of the protagonist Lily Reeves often. Looking forward to reading the Bloodline
trilogy.
I am a huge fan of The Bookshelf Muse. So when
Angela and Becca announced they were coming out with an actual book in print, I
was thrilled, to say the least.
I've used their
site every day throughout the years and am forever grateful they have taken the
time to come up with fresh entries on body language and visceral responses (and
much more!). Every writer who studies the craft knows these are very important tools
that bring the story to life.
Whether editing
or starting that first draft, THE EMOTION THESAURUS is a must have for every
writer. An extremely helpful brainstorming resource!
